"Diane Escobar of Spank-Glea's Houze watched my puppy for a week during Christmas 2014. I was very nervous since Daisy is my first dog and this was the first time I was leaving her. She is with me almost all the time. From the very first contact we had I knew I would be happy with Diane. She made me comfortable and put me at ease immediately. When we visited with Diane and her 2 adorable dogs I felt the love she had for her dogs and other dogs. She is a professional with vast knowledge about dogs. Daisy loved her and her dogs. They got along and really did not want to leave each other. During the week I was away I bombarded Diane with texts making sure Daisy was ok. Which of course she was. Diane sent me pictures and videos to make sure I knew how much fun Daisy was having there. When the week was over Daisy was happy, well adjusted and better trained than before I left her. I really can not say enough good things about Diane and my experience with her watching Daisy. As you all know these dogs are our babies and when you are lucky enough to find someone to treat them like their own that is a special thing. I will leave Daisy with Diane again anytime and not worry a bit. My only worry is that she has too much fun and doesn't want to come home. Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions about Diane and Spanky-Glea's Houze. Spanky (AKA Spankalicious!, AKA Spank-A-Doodle, AKA Spankanator, AKA Spankowitz, AKA Buppy, AKA Tiger.): An adult male, neutered Coton de Tulear with a heart of gold. Quite the socialite, Affectionate, loving, well behaved which is true to his breed, plus a face like that, who can resist his charm? Spanky was LI Dog's "Dog of the Month" for October/November 2012! Spanky passed on August 16, 2023. Spanky was our pack leader and we miss him every single day. Not a day goes by without missing or loving him still. Spanky was the reason this biz started and lasted over 10 years! It is because of this that we honored him by changing the name of the biz from StankGlea's Houze to Spanky's Fun Houze. It was changed on what would have been his 13th birthday, Dec 18, 2023. Spanky is still the heart and soul of what we do. May he rest in peace over the rainbow bridge and continue to guide us.
Stevie is a adult male neutered MaltChi. He is a abuse survivor rescued from A New Beginning Animal Rescue. Stevie along with other siblings were removed from the abusive home. Teenagers thought they would stop his "crying" by kicking and punching as it would "toughen him up" Little did they know that the "crying" was how Stevie communicated. We took him in knowing this would be a positive environment for him to flourish in. And Flourish he did!
Gleason (AKA Big Head, AKA Beefy Paws, AKA Mr. Socks), is also an adult male, neutered Coton de Tulear with a heart of gold. He is very energetic, loves to play with Spanky but mostly uses him as a chew toy. Gleason is LI Dog's Dog of the Month for Dec 2013!
